We are thrilled to offer our new patients an initial comprehensive consultation aimed at understanding your unique health needs and creating a personalized plan for your well-being. Our clinic, located in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia, is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care that integrates functional medicine and the Mediterranean lifestyle to optimize health and vitality.

Comprehensive Evaluation: We will perform a comprehensive evaluation of your health status, which may include physical examinations, laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other assessments as needed. Are you taking new patients?
Yes, we are currently taking new patients ages 15 and older. For information on consultations for younger children, please give us a call or send an email at https://pappashealth.com/contact/
What insurances do you take? Do you accept Medicare?
We DO NOT accept or participate with any insurance and have Opted-Out of Medicare and are considered out-of-network.
Please check with your insurance to see if you have out-of-network benefits.
** we will provide you with a HCFA claim form for you to submit to your insurance**
- We DO submit all lab work to the insurance. (Note: The amount charged may be greater than the amount reimbursed by your insurance plan. You will be held responsible for payment of the difference.)
- We have opted out of Medicare but will manage submission of all blood work to Medicare on your behalf.
This decision to switch to a direct pay model has come as a result of our desire to to be your doctor and put your care ahead of insurance paperwork and contractual requirements.
Are you a Concierge Practice?
We are not a concierge practice. We offer two optional membership plans depending on your needs and what kind of direct access you would like with Dr Pappas, such as text messaging and direct-dial calling. Our visits are billed according to the time spent with Dr Pappas. Please see our pricing list, available here: https://pappashealth.com/fees/
Do you offer Primary Care services?
Dr Pappas does offer primary care services and coordination of care which includes but is not limited to:
- Presciption Services
- New prescriptions, refills and Prior Authorizations
- Orders
- Including: Physical/Occupational Therapy, Plan of Care, Imaging, Blood Work and other testing, DME, etc.
- Referrals
- Consultations for:
- Annual Physical Exams, consultation for work and school forms, acute visits, etc.
Preparing for your Appointment
Appointment Checklist:
- Any records you would like to share with Dr. Pappas
- Please complete all questionnaires and online forms from the patient portal at least 48 hours before your appointment
- Feel free to bring all supplement bottles with you
- We encourage you to bring a friend or family member with you if you find that would be helpful.
Fee Schedule (effective January 1st 2024)
- Initial Comprehensive Consultation begins at $650 (First-time patients to Dr. Pappas, NOT patients from his previous offices)
Physical Exam $650 ( existing patients) - Consultations and follow-ups are billed by the complexity of the visit and can range from between $200-$650.

Pappas Primary Care Plus $475/ year
Note: this fee is required if you choose to have Dr Pappas as your Primary Care Provider
Membership Fees as of January 2024
- Silver $ 3000/ year
- Gold $4000/year
Note: Discounts for multiple family members are available with Gold plan.
